Comfuser system:
MSI 785GM-E51 mobo
AMD Athlon II X3 435 CPU
Kingston 2x2GB DDR3 1600 memory
WDC 500GB SHD
LiteOn DVD-RW ODD
LG SuperMulti ODD
ColorsIt 500W PSU

Right now I'm using the onboard graphics (Radeon HD4200). I need a new card to play Duke Nukem & RAGE, will the Asus HD 6670 be a good fit/should I look at another? I have (at most w/tax) a $110.00 limit.

P.S. Sorry, can't figure out how to do links correctly.

what is your gaming resolution? for your budget you can look at 6770 from the red camp and GTS450/GTX550Ti from the green camp. btw last time i checked RAGE is a bit problematic with radeons though i'm not sure if the issue has been fix or not.

I have the Envision H190L 19-inch LCD monitor & is maxed at 1280x1024 75Hertz, 32Bit resolution.

Ok, I may be able to get either the 6770 (Diamond/XFX?)/550TI (Galaxy/EVGA?). So which would run RAGE the smoothest?

I don't normally play w/AA & all those settings as I'm not very knowledgable w/those settings & rather not mess w/them too much.

Going to go w/the 550 Ti, which brand has the better reliability & Customer Service: http://www.frys.com/search?search_type=regular&sqxts=1&query_string=550ti&cat=

What is the difference between these 2:
EVGA GTX 550 Ti 1GB
EVGA GTX 550 Ti SC 1GB

Thanks for all the help so far everyone. I've decided to update my PSU 1st & still trying to narrow it down between these:
http://www.frys.com/product/6704235?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Productcompare.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007657%20600014021%20600029977&IsNodeId=1&bop=And&ShowDeactivatedMark=False&CompareItemList=58%7C17-371-030%5E17-371-030-TS%2C17-182-032%5E17-182-032-TS%2C17-152-028%5E17-152-028-TS%2C17-182-131%5E17-182-131-TS%2C17-341-022%5E17-341-022-14%23

The main sticking point for me is reliabilty of these & if each have the correct connections for my mobo (MSI 785GM-E51). I believe they all do, but my mobo's manual doesn't tell me much. Any suggestions?

Thank you for all the help everyone. I have decided on going w/the 550Ti & Antec Earthwatts EA-650 but unfortunantly, other things have come up & I am going to put my upgrades on hold for now.

I would recommend the AMD RADEON HD 4890 video card, because it's the most powerful graphics adapter from the RADEON HD 4XXX series! It costs $109.99 and can completely max out every single game which has ever came out of the store! It's an old card, but this doesn't matter because it can play all games on the highest settings and resolutions like 1920x1080 or 1920x1200 without any sign of lag or slowdown! It's the perfect card for you price / performance! I think that you should be able to install it without any problems on your system, but to be sure, just in case I will give you this link in order for you to see the AMD RADEON HD 4890 system requirements: http://www.amd.com/us/products/desktop/graphics/ati-radeon-hd-4000/hd-4890/Pages/ati-radeon-hd-4890-system-requirements.aspx

AMD RADEON HD 4890 is better than the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti video card!

Get an HD 7750 and forget the power supply upgrade then. It would run just fine on your current one and would be light years better than your integrated graphics. It performs on par with the previous generation HD 5770/6770 and doesn't need an external power connector. $110.
