2x6-pin plugs in one cable for gtx 275?

Hello,
GTX 275 requires 2x6-pin plugs. My PSU 500W Chieftec-500-A12S has one cable with two 6-pin plugs. Is this one cable enough for my GPU?

thats a piss poor design right there. that potentially could pull 150w thru one cable which is spec'd for 75w... the pcie connectors should be from seperate cables.

If it were really a piss poor design you probably wouldn't find it on high quality units like the FSP Aurum, Antec HCP or Silverstone ST

The Aurum uses dual 6+2's, theroretically 300 watts could be drawn thru the same cable set
