Hello,
I find this a little odd:
Checking PassMark - G3D benchmarks and I notice that the FirePro V7900 performs better than the Quadro 6000, how can the FirePro card be priced at ~$3,300 less than the Quadro? Does the V7900 absolutely blow at every other benchmark compared to the 6000? Also, I assume G3D Mark tests cards with a bias towards general gaming friendliness, so, can we conjecture that the V7900 performs on par with the 560ti, in gaming? Albeit, the workstation card costs ~$500 more than the GeForce, but if you could have a card that was pretty decent in gaming, plus being pretty good for 3D CAD stuff; is this benchmark a poor indicator of a card's usefulness in those two areas?
