6970 Crashing

Hi,

I've recently put together my new rig and although everything is running great for basic use when i tried 3DMark11 my graphics card crashed

I haven't overclocked or played with any settings and i keep the drivers up to date

just wondering if anyone can suggest anything i may have missed

my rig is:
ASRock Extreme7 Gen3
i5 2500K w Corsair H100
Gigabyte 6970 OC 2GB
Corsair Vengance 16GB
HAF X

any help would be really appreaciated

whats your power supply?

might just be a bad card then, do any games work?
If not, you might have to call gigabyte and go through their troubleshooting before you can rma, or return to store if possible.

Are you monitoring your temperatures? What are your CPU/GPU temps at idle and under load? Are you sure its the graphics card causing the crash? Have you tried prime95 on your CPU?
