What is the best graphic card to CrossFire on a

I recomend either EVGA GTX580 or Radeon 7970 both have similar power but EVGAs GTX580 is created for OC and you can easly go over 1GHz with this thing.

For value get 2x 6870(they will perform abit above a single 580gtx, and cost alot less). For max performance get 2x 7970. Middle route 2x 6950.

get one 6950 if your budget is $250, then crossfire it later.

one of the best option for you will be hd 6950 for that resolution or if u cant afford that much then hd 6870 will be good choice which is now on par with gtx 560.

Agreed. I will go for hd 6950 for now and put one more in later when I have the money. hd 6950 is having better value than hd 6870.
