Hey,

Win XP is being annoying, as it often gives a popup in my tray with a little story, about how my USB device has malfunctioned blablablabla

This is untrue because the Precision Pro Joystick (which is the unknown device for XP) works perfectly fine!

How can i turn of such alerts???

Which process gives them?

Thanks for your help
