Hi,
all my life I have used nVidia graphics because I always thought they were superior. My setups included normal stuff: Intel Pentium 4 and a geforce 6200 was my first and went to things like the 2 core duo and a gtx260, but my latest build (this was just to get me started) was a AMD phenom II and a gts450. I'm now going to buy a new gpu and my budget is £200 and I found a gtx560 Ti from gainward is around £200, but seeing as AMD make ATI radeon I was thinking about switching. Can someone tell me performance-wise what matches the 560 Ti? I saw things like the HD6870 for a reasonable price, and a HD6950 for £200. So, will the 6870 play crysis 2 and skyrim at 1080p at highish settings at a decent fps? If not, is a HD6950 or GTX560 Ti better?
Thanks

I have seen the GTX560ti's a lot cheaper than £200.00
@ulysses35 I know, but I would like one with decent cooling and I know gainward are very good. I have seen ASUS ones for 180ish but an extra 20 wouldnt hurt for the OC version from gainward. @kitsunestarwind could u post a link? I cant find them :L and everyone else thanks, thats set my mind a bit, but will the 6870 do for skyrim?
