I am not much of an overclocker. I though of buying a core i5 3550 but all motherboards supporting it are not that cheap. Should I get a core i5 2500 with has much cheaper boards? I don't have a sandy bridge to flash BIOS on z68 boards. Can you post in some boards which support core i5 3xxx out of the box? What is your word about ASRock H61M?

The i5 3550 and i5 2500 are both LGA 1155, so the 2500 are not supported by cheaper motherboards anyhow....whatever mobo supports the 2500 it will also support the 3550.....look up for the Gigabyte H61M-S2P-B3 it supports the 3rd gen intel core CPU's and you will also take advantage of the integrated graphics, but you wont be able to overclock later if you get a 'K' CPU.....
