Hello guys, yesterday I started streaming Team Fortress 2. I'm using Xsplit as streaming program and everything works just fine. The only problem is that my stream get huge lags (I don't see the lags while I play myself so it have to be my settings on Xsplit). My internet is 40 Mbit download and 10 Mbit upload, and at the most it uses around 1 Mbit upload..

My settings on Xsplit:
Location: Amsterdam (I believe it doesn't have anything to say, btw I live in Norway)

The video encoding settings:
Preset: Xsplit Defaulth
Quality: 5
VBV Max bitrate (kbps): 1000
Res: Defaulth stage resolution
VBV Buffer (kbit): 2500

Audio settings:
Format: 44.100 KHz, 16 bit stereo
Codec: MP3
Bitrate 64000

My PC specs:
Graphics card: Sapphire 6870 1 GB
CPU: Intel Core Quad Q6600 OC'd to 3,5 Ghz
RAM: 4.0GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 486MHz (5-5-5-18)
Drives: 156GB Western Digital WDC WD1600ADFS-75SLR2
313GB SAMSUNG SAMSUNG HD322HJ
PSU: Corsair 750 W
MOBO: ASUS P5Q-PRO

And here is a videosample of my lag while I streamed today:

Thank you in advance! :)

Try setting your stream resolution at your monitor resolution, and cap the frames per second to something like 15. This will decrease the CPU usage by a lot. If it still lags after this, then we can rule out CPU.
