Samsung announced it's new 192T today, they've returned to a wider bazel compaired to the 191T.

which i have to say is a step backwards in design.

anyways, i'm sure the display is going to be very nice, response time still isn't great, the press release states (sub 25ms) but makes no mention of 16ms which I was hoping for.

the colour reproduction and contrast should be similar to the 172T, which was awesome. I hope THG can review it soon!

The response time is 25ms. You won't see a sub 25ms LCD from Samsung until maybe 3Q of '03.

that link is no good, first of all the picture shown is a 191T, and secondly the inputs of the 192T are DVI and D-sub, the link says it's just D-sub.

Samsung announced that the response time is "below 25ms" for the 192T, i believe them more than a link that doesn't have correct pictures or info.

:)

and sorry to go on, but Q3 '03 starts in about 6 weeks, it's time Samsung announced these monitors you speak of :)
Edited by FiL on 05/09/03 03:08 AM.

192T 25ms response time is correct.

Samsung will launch the new X series with 16ms (152X, 172X).
But I think they have TN technology and not PVA.

So is better to wait for the "real evolution"...

I own the 172T monitor, which states below 25ms. i have no problems here at all, its a beautiful screen with a quick refresh rate.
