Ivy-Bridge question!

Will this Mobo be compatible with the new Ivy-bridge processors? Seen some people saying any 1155 socket is fine, but some saying only some will be compatible!

Yes all 1155 motherboards will be compatible with Ivy Bridge as stated here.

Thanks for the reply! Would i be good with this board, or would you recommend getting one to utilize those new features?

You'll get a lot of the same features on a Z68 board that you would on a Z77 board. The difference is the location of controllers within the mobo/CPU architecture.

Dont want to open a new topic but will I see any big difference if I upgrade from my old Core 2 duo E8500 3.16 GHz http://ark.intel.com/products/33911/Intel-Core2-Duo-Processor-E8500-%286M-Cache-3_16-GHz-1333-MHz-FSB%29 to the new Ivy Bridge i5 3570K ?

Mostly in web application use/watching movies/gaming.

Z77 mobo with have USB 3.0 native to the board, no more add-on controllers.

The bottom line: The motherboard supports Ivy Bridge AND the new CPU will perform at it's maximum capability.

You will (probably) have to do a BIOS upgrade, to support the new CPU.
