Suggestions and thoughts on a @$600.00 New build

Budget Range: something around $600.00 or below

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Surfing, streaming tv / movies, Libreoffice apps, GnuCash bookkeeping, mail

Parts Not Required: pretty much need all but printer brother mfc-j615cw and possible reuse of LG Flatron W2052TQ

Country: Tampa Fl USA we need to know where these parts are being assembled

Parts Preferences: by brand or typeopen to any and all suggestions

Overclocking:Maybe

SLI or Crossfire:Maybe

Monitor Resolution: not real sure on this one, do have Verizon FIOS internet access
Additional Comments: Built first computer about 1 year ago and have run several Linux distros which I have been very happy with. Thought I would try it again as a possible dual boot, Ubuntu 12.04 when released and Windows 7 home premium or professional suggestions welcome. Not sure if it makes any sense, can be done, or is even worth it, but was thinking of loading OS on the 2 SSD cards and partitioning the hard drive 50 50 for each system. Suggestions on a decent video card. Last system was AMD and would consider a change if it would make a better system. As is am over budget, and would like to stay as close to budget as possible.

As far as ram, i checked the new egg site and was unable to locate a 16MB Ramm kit. The SSD cards are not necessary, just sort of wishful thinking. Bottom line, solid fast quite computer running Ubuntu 12.04 and some form of Windows 7for web browsing, simple off applications. e mail and streaming videos and movies. Throw it all out and let's start again if you thing that would be simpler and easier.

You only need 8GB. Grab the Windows 7 OEM for 100$
If you really want SSD, get a Crucial M4 64gb.
