Approximate Purchase Date: Looking to complete by 1st week in May after Ivy bridge, purchasing components as they go on sale primarily from Newegg

Budget Range: ~$800

System Usage from Most to Least Important: GAMING!! (swtor, wow, d3), Internet...

Parts Not Required: Already have monitor, keyboard, mouse. Already purchased powersupply, MOBO, Video card

SeaSonic X750 Gold 750W - $109.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

BIOSTAR TP67XE (B3) LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard - $69.99 (w/rebate)

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg.com, Amazon.com, and Tigerdirect.com

Country: USA

Parts Preferences: by brand or type - No preferences really as long as they are reliable, usually I check reviews thoroughly to make sure they're decent.

Overclocking: Most likely, currently overclocking my core2 quad to 3.2ghz

SLI or Crossfire: Probably with another 560 ti

Monitor Resolution: 1920X1080

Additional Comments:

So I'm kinda just gathering parts until Ivy comes out, waiting for great deals on stuff etc. The more parts I gather the more I just wanna say the hell with it and buy a 2500k and build it asap. I dunno stuff I read is about 50/50 wait for Ivy or just stick with reliable 2500k.

Here's what I'm thinking for rest of build if I were to buy it today:

Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz - $204.99 ($15.00 off right now woot!)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 - $41.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Rosewill CHALLENGER Black Gaming ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - $44.99 ($10.00 off right now!)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

LG 22X Super-Multi DVD Burner - $22.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Crucial M4 CT128M4SSD2 2.5" 128GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) - $159.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
Really looking for this to go on sale at the $100-$110 pricepoint (/crossesfingers)

Western Digital Scorpio Blue WD5000BPVT 500GB 5400 RPM 8MB Cache 2.5" SATA 3.0Gb/s - $79.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
Really looking to only spend ~$50.00 here, dont need a big drive since already have a 2TB external

COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus - $19.99 (w/rebate)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

So right now I'm at approximately $750. Hopefully as these things go on sale I can save some more $$$. I will probably break down and get the other 560ti shortly after I build this :sol:
Hopefully I can pick one up for about $150-175, but for now I don't really need it.

My questions are:

Should I wait until Ivy comes out or just go with this?

Where can I get a decent, cheap, reliable, regular hard drive for around $50.00?

Will this build work the way I have it setup? Am I missing something?

First time poster First time builder thanks in advance! :hello:

I don't imagine solid states would go on sale for that much. I would go for half that amount in SSD since you also have a hard drive.

Hard drive's aren't going for that low anymore, unless you're lucky and find a cheap deal on a refurbished. If you're lucky.

That's just wahat i see right now.

Went on sale today for around $105 today with 15% off and rebate. Came very very close to buying, still thinking about. Hoping the M4 comes down to around this price, but I dunno.
