First I wouldn't recommend going Zambezi on any build as there's been lots of problems with it from day one - and despite what the hardcore AMD fans will tell you, it's not going to be fixed with Windows 8.

Second - ditch the sound card, they're useless anymore and put that money in your GPU. Knowing your budget will help to suggest a better build.

Why the DVD-ROM for like $16 when the Lite-ON 24x DVD burner is under $20?

+1 on ditching the sound card.

Ratings for the Zambezi seemed pretty decent as far as issues goes, but I'll look into it then.
Perhaps this GPU is a betteroption: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition. Quad Core at 3.4 seems to be good enough for most games at high settings considering the other hardware I have listed on here.

I don't necessarily have a fixed budget per se, but I would like to keep it between 700-800 bucks.

Switched to your suggestion, thanks!
