4850 vs 6670

Hey guys just had a quick Q about these two video cards, I have the 4850 right now in my rig and was thinking of getting the 6670, now all I was wondering is if it would be worth the buy?

My specs are

intel Core2duo E7200

Asus P5Q-Pro

4GB (2x2BG) of 800Mhz RAM

Radeon HD4850

600W Ocz PSU

No a 6670 would actually be slower. A 6770 would be an upgrade, but too small to justify the expense. If you want a significant upgrade, then get at least a 6870

No, 6670 is slower, if you are looking for an upgrade at least go with an HD 6850. If you can't go with it I think it's not worth it to upgrade to lower cards and better you stay with your old card.

This link is a heirarchy of cards where each tier should represent a chunk of performance (not exactly defined but it's not a massive difference). The 6670 is 2 tiers below the 4850 so it's less powerful (it's about as fast as a 4830). A 6670 would not be an upgrade for you.
