More Information

I went to buy a cheap Modem eariler today. I asked the sales man if the PC-Tel Modem is a Full Duplex or not. And he went to ask the other sales men, and one guy came over and told me that there is no Full Duplex under Analog Phone Line. I didn't say anything thing but there was a question in my mind. I do believe there is Full Duplex even though you are using an analog phone line because the meaning of Full Duplex is that you can transmit data in 2 directions at the same time. Just like when you are talking on the phone, both parties can talk at the same time. The worst part about it is that in the back of the box, it states the tramsmittion is Full Duplex. ???? Please Correct me if I am wrong.
