GTX 570+GT 430 questions

I want to purchase nvidia GTX570 to combine with my old nvidia GT 430..
The question is, can someone tell me more about the sli things and how to suit it together perfectly..

2nd question, are the GTX 570 and GT 430 perfectly match together??

My motherboard : EVGA x58 ftw 3sli
6 gigb ddr3 ram
intel i7-930 processor
650watts power supply

You can only SLI the same cards with matching memory together, like GTX 570 1280 MB with GTX 570 1280 MB. GT 430 and GTX 570 don't match together. You're better off just running single GTX 570.

No, you can only SLI when the card are the same example GTX 560 ti with another one 560 ti or the same architecture, like GTX 580 with GTX 570 (totally stupid and not worth it :lol.

What you can do is put your GT 430 as a dedicated PhysX Processor.

I second the idea of the setting the 430 as a dedicated Physx card. The 570 is so much faster than the 430 that putting them in SLI together would be a joke. It's a night and day performance difference. Let the 430 have its glory as a CUDA/Physx-in-the-background card.
