Hello,
I just started putting a lot more load on my computer, and obviously thought.. WHY NOT UPGRADE, so here I am, very confused, and in need of help.

First, I have a Dell Inspiron 530s, which is incredibly small, and won't fit the graphics card I was just given (nvidia gtx 550ti) so my first question is

What is a good quality case to get? Are there any special needs for cases? (also, not completely necessary but my room has many LED's so any cases that come with LED lighting is nice)

And from there, with a new card comes new power supply, so whats the minimum power supply unit I can get? I've seen like http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139028

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817256071#top

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=6610961&CatId=1483)

those get recommended a bit to different people, but what makes them different?

Also, a LED friendly one that is sad to be a very poor brand

What makes that one so bad?

Sorry.. I am just new to all this high end computing stuff and trying to learn, and buy.

tl;dr
Need a new case and PSU for a 550ti and my Dell 530s.

Thanks.

and you could get random lock ups or blue screens. the bad power supplys are ones that are labled for x wattages but cant handle that wattage or are made from sub standard parts and under load do this.

if your lucky just the ps cap or fuse pops...up your unlucky it takes out your hard drive and motherboard or cpu with it.
with your dell case google the service part number of the mb inside..if it says micro atx or mini atx then most atx case should bit your mb. not all dell or hp mb will fit in new case.
i would go with a good black case

somthing that you can use when you upgrade your system latter.
use a led controller like this one that just came out to color the inside of your case. but use a good cosair power supply non led.

if you want the fan in front to glow blue it be cheaper any easer to replace them.
toss in a black cpu cooler

have your local 3d laser shop extech a batman logo on the case and your set :)

MB - Dell Inc. 0RY007 (Socket 775) 40 °C

So, what would you recommend for a Power Supply?

Also, what should I look for when purchasing a case? What makes the one you posted good?
