For about the same price ($70-80 CDN) I can get a 4870 or a 5750 (maybe even a 6750). I know the GPU Hierarchy Chart on here says the 4870 is actually a tier above the other two, but I'm concerned because it is older. Should I go with he 4870 or the 5750?

Asus MaximusIV Gene-Z (the small one)

None will give you very good frames in most recent games so I would go with 6750 because it's newer and probably easier to sell once you're ready to get something better.

Also, these cards are all used, so obviously the 4870 has probably seen a few more miles. I have a 500w PSU which AMD says is enough for the 4870, even though it sucks more juice than the other two.

Any thoughts?

buying an hd 6770 will be more better then that two it gives more performance then that two but the hd 4870 will nearly caomparable towards an hd 6770 but for todays gaming it doesnt seems good cause it doesnt have dx 11 but that doesnt matter so the hd 6770 will be the more better option just collect some more money and get one hd 6770 instead of that two.:)

comparison of performance 1gb 4870 vs 1gb 6770.
