Currently have 1st monitor connected to GPU card DVI to DVI. Works fine. Proposed 2nd monitor is LED TV with HDMI/DVI input as well as VGA input. GPU card has two DVI outputs. Mobo has a HDMI output. Connecting mobo hdmi to LED mon hdmi input results in no signal (I set mon to hdmi imput) and no detection through Windows display panel. Do I need to use the second GPU DVI output to make it work or should the mobo hdmi output work?

There might be a setting in BIOS you can change to output to the on-board HDMI, otherwise you'll have to use the video card for both. You could either buy another DVI cable, or get a DVI-HDMI adapter (since DVI basically passes a HDMI signal without the sound, AFAIK)

Thanks, worked perfectly with a second graphics card cable. You were correct. On-board hdmi was turned off when I installed the GPU.
