[CPU] / [MoBo] compatibility problem or disfunctionate CPU?

Current Specs:
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 975
MoBo: Asus M4A77TD (NOT PRO)
GPU: Radeon HD 4870
RAM: 12 GB DDR3 @ 1600

This processor was bought new from Newegg and I HAVE NOT OVERCLOCKED THIS PROCESSOR.
I recently replaced the CPU on my rig from an Athlon 2 x3 445 to a Phenom 2 x4 975 and I seem to only have 3 functioning cores, out of an available 5 (wtf?). I have flashed my MoBo to version 2104. Pictures are worth a thousand words so here are some and thanks for your help!

What I'd like to know is whether its the CPU or my MoBo causing my problems and if its solvable without RMA'ing anything.

Go into Bios and make sure you have all cores enabled.

I'm assuming the "Active CPU Cores" is what controls whether a core is active or not?
