Hey guys

i have an xbox connected to a HDTV through HDMI cable on source 1, i also have my PC connected through HDMI on source 2.

The speakers on my TV are rubbish and i can barely hear my xbox games. Is there a way to get my Xbox audio into my PC, and out my PC's speakers?

If anyone recommends an amplifier i will cry as i recently gave 1 to my friend

Cheers.

I do not think you can use the monitor as a speaker.

You can use it as the screen and speakers, but not just speakers.

Honestly I think your best bet is to get a pair of headphones/or a headset. The quality that you can get from headphones/headsets is ridiculous. I bought myself a cheap pair and it blows my tv speakers away. I just plug in the headset and mute the tv.

I just have the Turtle Beach x12

They are very low end when it comes to headsets. when compared to tv speakers though, they are amazing. (Unless you have a surround sound setup, then they aren't so great)
