i'd like to know about MTBF's of different types of i7.

I'd suggest that for non-solid state then mtbf is a good measure for solid state its not so useful as they may not follow a normal distribution and therefore the mean time is not a useful measure.

Why are you asking?

If you want to know about 'whole system' reliability then every other component (apart from RAM) will fail first.
