512 MB ddr5 vs 1GB ddr3

So what's better for gaming at 1680 x 1050 resolution,it's the Radeon 5670 graphics card but it comes in these two versions-512 mb ddr5 and 1gb ddr3,so which one should i buy ???

if your shopping on newegg, get the msi. msi has great oc software.
i would avoid all biostar products.

that is a little vauge of a description, here are some other factors to consider when buying.
Effective memory clock = higher is better
core clock = higher is better
memory interface = higher is better

With a 5670 you won't really need 1GB of vram since you'll have to play with lower resolutions and less AA/AF. i'd get the cheaper one, if they only differ 5-10 dollars then it won't hurt to get the better one.
