Please i would love some clarity on this situation. I have recently build a new PC, its has SLI for the record. When im playing FPS i 'think' i have a SMALL, but frustrating amount of lag. Iv tried feking about with the graphics settings but doesn't help. It does it in all FPS games i.e Team Fortess 2, BF3. I dont seem to notice it in strategy games! my polling rate is set to 1000, iv tryed 500, iv check for update for both graphics drivers and mouse.

I have a razor imperator. I cant decide if im just making excuses for playing bad :p  I dont want to buy a new mouse if im just making this up. Any light on this would be greatly appciated.

HELP MEEMMEME
Thankyou

Try looking for mouse and graphics drivers AGAIN.

Is your mouse sensitivity very high? Make sure you use a high enough DPI setting, or else movement will stutter. Being able to move your cursor 1 pixel in windows requires nothing, but changing the viewing angle the minimum amount an FPS game can handle requires your mouse to be able to detect VERY fine movements at high mouse sensitivity.

Disable VSync and make sure you get AT LEAST 60 FPS. Having more FPS than your monitor refresh rate does not give you more frames, but gives you more updated frames, so your very last mouse movements are put to the screen.

If your mouse still lags or stutters, return the mouse.
