Controlling 120mm tricool fan with motherboard

I just completed my first build (pic attached). I have most of my case fans connected to the 3 pin headers on the mobo so I can control the fan with my motherboard. I bought an extra 120 mm antec tri cool fan and after some research I discovered that without some modding I cannot control this fan speed with my motherboard. Any recommendations for a 120mm fan with blue led that can be controlled by my motherboard with the 3 pin header? Thanks!

I think your MB has 4 pin headers on 4 outputs and 3 pin on two more.
To control speed you need 4 pin and 4 pin PWM fans.

The other fans that i have connected to the mobo have 3 pin connectors. The mobo does have 4 pin headers but it connects with just 3. I read that the 4th is not a vital pin for newer systems but I didnt really understand why.

I bought a Thermaltake 120mm Thunderblade and it works great!

The 4th pin is not vital to work, only for pulse width modulation speed control.
If you take a 4 pin fan and wire a 2 pin fan to G and PWM pins, it will run at reduced speen of the 4 pin fan but there is no #3 wire to tell MB what speed it is running.
Good Luck
