Just a quick question:

Will the PSU in my build be sufficient for the other components in there?

Yes, no problem. The XFX 550 is a good Seasonic unit and will work fine.

Yep. 500W is what is recommended and even that is taking into account "bad" PSU's.

The XFX 550 watt power supply is more than sufficient for a gaming rig with one Radeon HD 7870 video card. AMD recommends a 600 watt power supply for a system with two 7870's in CrossFireX mode:
