I would get the GTX 670 over the 7970.

Anyways, you're looking at a good 600W.

Really, you should be playing with your budget. Don't get a mid ranged CPU and such a high end GPU.

Btw, the PhIIX4 965BE isn't all that bad to pair up with a high end card, imo. Sure, your graphics card will have some bottle neck that you wouldn't have with ... say... an i5-2500K. But you will still get great frame rates. Just not as good as if it was paired up with the faster processor.

I'd downgrade to a 7950 and grab a 2500K
