6950 2gb Sapphire dirt3 2gb problems?

Ok, Here are my specs.

- Amd phenom ii x4 980 3.7ghz on Antec h2o 620 80% load: 45C
- 6950 2gb Sapphire dirt3 2gb
- 1tb WDBLACK 7400rpm
- 16gb ddr3 1333 PNY
- ASRock 890x AM3+


Problems, I think?

- L.A. Noire
Stuttering and lag w/ 25-30fps Low. Exact same on high/ultra.

*Note: My old laptop 'same res' With a i5 dual core & 6770m ran La Noire w/ no stuttering & 80fps on Low.

- Minecraft
Single player stuttering w/ 50fps.
(How ever, When i play on a server / host on my comp and "Localhost" Stuttering is gone and 250+ fps)
My bro's comp has the same as mine, But with a Phenom ii x6 1090t Same problem.

- Mafia ii
PhysX on: 4fps | MAX
PhysX off: 190+ fps | MAX


Resolution: *All games
1366x768

THe AMD 6950 2GB or any AMD card does not support PhysX. You need an nVidia card for that, I believe.

No need. I run 11.12 myself on 2 x Sapphire 6950 2GB and its serving me well. But before, I noticed that If I turn on Anisotropic in Catalyst, it reduce my fps so I turn it off.
Something else to try is to install the Catalyst Application Profile... it should not be the cause of your reduced fps but it could improve some.
