I've got a new PC on the way that has the Intel Turbo Boost feature on the CPU.

Do I need the monitor for Turbo Boost to still do its job?
Can the monitor be uninstalled/disabled without actually stopping the turbo boost effect taking place?

There's no need to install the monitor. It just exists so you can see it happening, nothing more.

Thanks for the information.

I feel as if I've made a mistake buying an Intel Core i5 3450 3.1GHz (3.5GHz Turbo).
Reckon that CPU will be sufficient enough to run ARMA2/BF3 etc. on high settings?

(combined with a GeForce GTX 560 TI)
