Win 7/ Mac OS X Dual Boot Situation HELP!

SPECS:
Gigabyte P55A-UD3 rev 2.0
Intel Core i5-760 2.8 Ghz Quad Core
4GB DDR3 RAM
Diamond Radeon HD 5770 1GB DDR5
40GB IDE HDD (Windows 7)
300GB IDE HDD (Empty)

What is the best method of installing Mac OS X 10.6.8 (and up) on this hardware configuration? I am willing to install it on my 300GB IDE HDD. And if possible, what Bootloader could use, but otherwise I use Boot options from the BIOS.?

I know this may not be the appropriate section, but the Mac OS X section is off limits for what ever reason. Thanks.

  1. As far as I know, OS X really doesn't like IDE controllers (none of the Intel Macs ever shipped with them), so you might be out of luck with IDE disks.
  2. OK, thanks. I've gotten it running on a P4 with IDE's, but the drives are easily replacable with SATA drives. With that in mind, do you have any suggestions on how to go about installing it with SATA drives.
