I just got this computer for a price I couldn't pass up.

I've upgaded it:

AMD Phenom X4 9750 - 2.4 GHz Quad-Core
Kingston 8GB (4 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 800 SDRAM

Now I want to add the best graphics card I can run on it. It's the desktop model so I know I need a low profile card. I've looked at other posts and it seems like on these small form factor pc's that the power supply could be an issue. I've been looking around and can't quite figure out what I should run.

This is on a 280w PSU.

Radeon 5570 maybe?

I'd be open to suggestion. Thank you.

Yep, the HD5570 will work well. I've been using mine on a 250w power supply for over a year now fine. The HD6570 is an alternative, or you could wait for the upcoming HD7000 series equivalent. Maybe nvidia will have something comparable aswell.

Well unless you want to upgrade your psu to maybe 400 or 450 watt and get a GTS 450 (Banging card by the way) i have to go with inferno on this one, AMD is alow more power management and performance when it comes to low profile cards.

Thanks for the help guys. I'm going with the out going hd 6570 because there is a $20 rebate out for it right now bringing the final cost to $50. :-)
