7950gt 256MB or GT 220 512MB

Basically, my friend has an old graphics card he never uses (7950gt), and i currently have a GT 220 installed in my PC and i'm wondering if the 7950gt will have any performance increase, even if it's 10% i'd be fine with using it. I'm using XP so directx 10/10.1 don't matter so i'd be on directx 9.0c either way. Both cards are PCI-express incase you ask if it's agp. I also have the required power requirements so that's fine
