I am deciding between these two laptops. Basically, more video card ram or higher resolution screen:

ASUS N53SN-RH72
15.6"INTEL I7 750GB 8GB SILVE
SYSTEM TYPE NOTEBOOK
OPERATING SYSTEM WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMIUM 64-BIT
PROCESSOR INTEL CORE I7 2670QM / 2.2 GHZ / 6 MB CACHE
MEMORY 8 GB DDR3
STORAGE 750 GB HDD 7200RPM
OPTICAL DRIVE DVD-WRITER / BLU-RAY
DISPLAY 15.6" LED BACKLIGHT WIDE 1366 X 768 / HD
GRAPHICS NVIDIA GEFORCE GT 550M - 2 GB DDR3

ASUS N53SN-RH72
Same as above but without Blu Ray. My only concern is the following:
The AAFES (store) product specs for the display read:
•Screen Size: 15.6"
•Display Screen Type: HD LCD
•Aspect Ratio: 16:9
•Screen Mode: WXGA
•Screen Resolution: 1920 x 1080
•GPU Type: NVIDIA GeForce GT 550
•Video Memory: Up to 2048MB
WXGA seems like old technology?

ASUS N53SV-DH72
15.6" I7-2672QM 750GB 6GB SILV
SYSTEM TYPE NOTEBOOK
OPERATING SYSTEM WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMIUM 64-BIT
PROCESSOR INTEL CORE I7 2670QM / 2.2 GHZ
MEMORY 6 GB DDR3
STORAGE 750 GB HDD / 7200 RPM
OPTICAL DRIVE DVD-WRITER / BLU-RAY
DISPLAY 15.6" LED BACKLIGHT WIDE 1920 X 1080 / FULL HD
GRAPHICS NVIDIA GEFORCE GT 540M - 1 GB DDR3

I'm looking to play games like GTA4, CoD, etc. No graphics work, just a little gaming, web surfing, office etc. Is the 1080P screen upgrade more valuable than the extra GB of video card ram on the N53SN? Is the extra 2GB ram much of an upgrade on the N53SN? Will it make a difference watching blu ray movies? Both are roughly the same price.

Thanks in advance.

The RAM will go unused, due to not enough power, so it's not the main difference. The first laptop has more powerful graphics card and lower resolution (GT 550 M vs GT 540 M and 1366x768 vs 1920x1080). The games will run way smoother on the first one, because of the lower resolution, though they will definitely look better on the second one.
