Boot problem?

Hello,
This is a 2 month old new build with win7 premium home edition. Its run great until tonight. I turned it on and all the fans began running at max but my monitor never came on. It kept running, so I finally pushed the off button. What could be the problem? I haven't downloaded anything new, haven't really messed with it.
