Gateway PC 834GM will not boot up. Power light turns on, fans are running, green

Hello,
Is there a test to perform to identify if problem is the power button/switch or power supply or could it be some other issue?

it could be a number of things

do you have another system you can test components on like the CPU (must be the same socket) and the ram (must have DDR support)

whew, a 56K modem... lol

No, my other computer is a laptop. I guess I'll purchase a new power supply and start there. Thanks for suggestion.
