Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Temp

I haven't noticed til now. But today I checked my cpu temperature while in game it was up to 80s. Then I found on the net that I might need to push down the stock cooler and make it a little secure and that did help and brought it down.

So right now I was wondering if these temps are good with the current set up I have. Just built last week. The case has 3 fans which I set to max.

On start up I get 35-40
Idle 40c
In game I get 50c+

Wondering if these are good temps?

35-40 is good for idle
50 is ok for under load
80+ is way to hot and something is wrong

Make sure the black push are all the way through the clear female adapters.

Ah okay. Awhile ago it was at 60-80 and I found it this was pretty high. So I secured the stock a bit and it really helped it now temps are around.
35-50.

So just wondering because I was kinda worried when it was at 60-80 before.

Probably because the black male pins weren't all the way through the female adapters.

Get an aftermarket cooler.
Hyper 212 evo is a good cooler for the price as long as it fits in the case.
Ivy can run hot; hotter than sandy anyhow and is fine in the 70c range

Would it help if I got some fans. Since my case has 4 fan mounting places. I was thinking to pick some from a local Radioshack.
