Need gaming card with this motherboard and proc

sup guys, i wanna get into swtor but only wanna spend max 150 bucks. preferbly 100(wife holding me back lol).
i bought this computer in 2009 so its getting abit older, but im not ready to give up on it. i know ill prob have to get a new card and power supply to play swtor so anyone got any cheap routes?

HP: Benicia-GL8E

Processor-
Core 2 Duo E7300 (W) (2.66GHz /1066 MHz) 2 MB L2 cache; Dual Core (65W)

get the 6670 for about $80 will run swtor no problem.

the cheaper ones are the ddr3 versions which are slighly slower.

What is your PSU and brand name? If it is a 400w or better it should run that card even a 300w might run that card. It just depends what the amps are on the 12v rail.

awesome this one will run with my processor and motherboard as well?

this is what card im using right now.would this be a big upgrade?

GeForce 9300 GE (256 MB) with PCI Express x1 TV tuner card (includes remote control & receiver, expansion card, external IR receiver and IR emitter cable)


i should also say im only using 3gigs of ram as well.

3 GB (2 x 1 GB, 2 x 512 KB) DDR2 PC2-6400

im only running a 300w power supply

yes its a pretty large upgrade and you should be able to play the game on medium to high no problem with the card.

alright thank you very much. maybe when titan comes out ill buy a new computer(hopefully not haha)... hopefully this computer gets me by for another 3 years woot!!!
