Yes, I am running QuickBooks 2000 Pro on Windows 7 with no problems so far. You'll need your registration number from your old computer, which you get by clicking on Help>About QB. I installed CD and clicked on "Open to view files." I then right clicked Setup.exe>Properties and selected the bar at bottom thats says "Change set up for all users." The, I choose the "compatibility" tab and checked the box that said run in compatibility mode and choose run as "windows 2000" from the lists. Then, I think I hit "apply" and then "close." Then, with the original "open to view files" list, I clicked on "setup.exe" and let itbegin installing. It worked perfectly. When it opened, I clicked on "restore" and added my old files from an external hard drive (your may be on a saved CD). After I used it a few times, a window popped up asking me to register within 25 uses. The internet registration option showed an error, so I clicked on "register by phone" and typed in my registration number (saved from old computer) and clicked okay it accepted it and returned a thank you message. I did have to reload my logo for the custom invoice template...all other files appear intact and complete. Done and working without an upgrade.
