PC Lags and Freezes frequently..

Hello there,

My PC lags and freezes a lot lately.. Any ideas why it might happen? Here is my PC..

Mainboard : ASRock P55M Pro
Chipset : Intel P55
Processor : Intel Core i5 750 @ 2666 MHz
Physical Memory : 12288 KB
Video Card : ATI Radeon HD 5600 Series
Hard Disk : Seagate ST3250318AS ATA Device (250GB)

CD-Rom Drive : DTSOFT Virtual CdRom Device

bad raid set up or conflicting sound drivers.

I have no RAID, hmm conficting sound drivers? This is the first time I read something like that :/

possibly you are running on board sound ?......... and when you installed the graphics card you did an "express" install and installed ALL the stuff in the driver file ...????........... including the sound through HDMI ????............ if so, go into the device manager and uninstall the amd/ati high def sound driver. reboot. don't let windows reinstall it. any improvement ?

Dang amazing.. I indeed installed all the stuff in the driver file.. I uninstalled it now and I will reboot in a while. I will update you
