The build is "good". I'd add 4 more gigs of RAM if possible.
  2. would a stock cooler be fine or would i need a decent cpu cooler?W

A link to a good cpu cooler would be very helpful?
  3. Yeah, this is a good build, but you might consider buying a HD 6870 and as Chaz21 said purchase another 4 gigs of ram.
Overall this is a good build and these a just my opinions. :D

I'd go with either this one:

or this one ( ^'s bigger brother)
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103099
I've got the first one and it's fine. Some swear by it and some by the EVO. It's your choice. With either one you might want to add another fan for a "push-pull" setup if you're going to do any massive OC'ing.
