I just got this motherboard and ram today and I was reading the manual and it says that the memory that I have is not supported. I have the G.Skill ripjaws stuff(F3-12800CL9S-4GBRL) and the motherboard has something really close to it g.skill (F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL). But the ram is 240 pin and the motherboard takes that kind so I don't know if it is going to work with it although I know that it will fit in. Please tell me if it will work or not. Thanks.

Knowing the make and model of your motherboard would help to determine if the RAM is supported or not.

Most motherboards support DDR3 1600MHz, but just to check give us the model/make of mobo.

I really can't see why that wouldn't work - it's 1.5V and that's what a Sandy-Bridge build requires. Maybe try updating your motherboard's BIOS if you can.
