hi every im in the process of making a new build and im going to buy the PSU and GPU in aprox. 2 weeks but im wondering i have everything else such as

intel i5 2500k
g.skill ripjawsx 8gb (2x4gb) 1600 ddr3
ASRock z68 extreme3 gen3 mobo
a 250 gb sata II hdd
NO GRAPHICS CARD****

and i want to know if i can run my system on this PSU until i get my new stuff

OR***

should i just wait it out until i get my graphics card and PSU which is:
HIS HD6950 IceQ X 1gb
Corsair Gaming Series GS-600

I'm not sure but I don't think it can run it

for psu if you want to go cheap but good quality

corsair CX600 600W is your best bet.

6950 if you really want one but if you can grab this 7850/7870 whichever is cheaper go with that, it's much much better

if you already got that psu then it should run. Intel cpu alone won't take a lot of power and you don't have gpu yet.

I 100% agree with Tavo_Nova that an AMD 7850 is the way to go over the 6950! I only picked the BF3 chart because the game is so popular right now, you can scroll through the rest of the review here: http://www.guru3d.com/article/amd-radeon-hd-7850-and-78...

(Spoiler) The 7850 beats the 6950, and it uses less power!! :)

BTW i said can i run on the cheap psu UNTIL**** i get my GPU and PSU***
(Meaning that i dont have a GPU Yet)
