680 MB upgrade

I have a EVGA 680i Mb, with a e6600 cpu and gts 8800 740mg VIDEO> i am looking onto popping a 6600, or q6700 cpu and 560ti 448 core card. Can I get something better or more reasonable for balance cpu/gpu performance without changing out mb? Does the 560ti offer best for money on this settup or does anyone have better upgrade info.

You would need to overclock the cpu to get the most of a GTX560ti 448. 3ghz minimum.

Depends on how much your paying for the cpu though, if your paying $200, you would be better off buying a i3-2120/H61/8GB DDR3 which can be had for under $200.
