Hello people,

since 2 monts i have bought a new gaming pc and i spent a lot for it.. around 1500 euro. now it is time to get a new monitor to take my gaming at next level. i would like to buy a 3D monitor. the problem is that i dont know yet what to choose. is it better to stay at classics monitors or maybe a smart tv?? my budget is around 600 euro but i dont know where to spent them

i am looking for something around 27''-32'' (3D) as i saw pc monitors goes max at 27'' and smart tvs starts from 32''

here i have to say that i already have a Sony lcd tv 42'' 3 years old and when i tried to connect my pc on it i realized that the picture sucks. colors wasnt so nice and the whole picture was crap. i hope that is solved with the new smart tvs.. Am i right?? cause i want to take the max performance from my vga

a monitor is always better than a tv.

monitors have

1. better quality.

2. high pixel density so provides shaper images

3. it provides a smooth gameplay as it has fast response times.



but they are


small in size.

larger size monitors are costlier than tvs larger than it.

they lack tv tunner card.

they dont have various connection for the audio ins and outs.


why do you want 3d monitor.

i would suggest2 option.

1. get the samsung 3d monitor (i specially like asus and dell monitors)

2. dell ultrasharp u27 " 2560 x 1440 ips display.

i would prefer to go with the dell ultrasharp. because.

A. it is a 27" ips monitor.

B. it has twice as pixel as a full hd monitor i.e 2560 x1440 = 2 x (1920 x 1080)

due to this the images are way sharper and pictures look better than real.

C . it is fast to play fast fps games.

the quality of displays are been in the order of their quality on display.


IPS>VA>TN

IPS : in plane switching

VA : vertical allignment

TN : twisted nematics
