More about rate build
  1. looks good
bit of overkill on the ram, maybe you can downgrate that and get a better graphics card

For your use that'll work. At least you stayed away from the FX's - good move on your part. If you were shooting for a higher purpose, I'd try to steer you to the i5. In your case it's not needed. $70.00 saved is big in todays economy.
  3. switch to xfx pro 550w psu.it's a better choice.
get x4 955 deneb.6 core isn't worth the cost and also add a hyper 212+ if you are planning to overclock.

Will Downgrading the RAM give me better performance? I was under the impression that more RAM is better..Sorry a bit new to building
  5. more ram is better but you will see no improvement over 8 gigs
  6. As the old saying goes 8 is enough. :)

Well - if you have lots of money - go with the 680. If not look here:

    Good luck with your build.
  11. yeah 680 is a really great gpu.28nm which means it runs cooler, less power consumption and more overclocking, all of these=ultimate FUN!!!

Yes I agree. We may be about to enter a cycle where "green" does to "red" what Intel did.
