Im pretty set on wanting to do a SSD for my OS, with a smaller hard drive, between 150-300 GB.

What im not set on is:
-Going intel over amd
-Graphics card
-Case, the reviews on this say its good but i know there is alot of room to drop the price in this category.
-Power supply, I would like a gold rated one but im not sure if 550W is enough. Also dont want to spend over 100$ on one :/.

Any suggestions on improvements to lower cost to between 800-850$, or even lower if comparable?

More about review opinions build
  1. Get an ASRock Extreme3 Gen3 mobo.
    Get this case:

    Get this HDD:

Get an Intel i5 2400. Can't overclock, but cheaper.

Though that graphics card is very weak. Go with a 460 for the same price but 2-3x faster. The 550W PSU should handle everything.
