Computer crash

Ok guys, I'm at the end of my rope. I have built a system and have had it running fine for a year now. I have a msi 570-g54 motherboard with a gigabyte hd 6850 gpu and a amd quadcore black edition cpu. For some reason around a hour after the pc has been on the monitor goes black says I lost connection and the sound cuts out. The tower and all the fans run fine. I replaced the power supply, check all the wires, and re-seated the gpu. I have no idea whats going on. All the temps seem normal leading up to the shut off..

Step 1:- Remove gpu & use motherboard vga output.
If it's work then your mobo & psu alright.

The 6850 draws about 150 W at full load.
Whats your PSU? :sarcastic:
If uour PSU is >= 450W then definitely your GPU is dead.

Do you have your rig set to sleep or hybernate after not touching the keyboard or mouse? Every computer I have ever owned always does something I have never ask it to do. Has anybody else been on it?

Why we think it is a heat problem is The system has been on for an hour and a half then the monitor goes black and shows disconnected. That is a normal sign or over heating. Does this happen everytime you turn on your rig?
