Hi I just purchased a EVGA 560ti GTX sc about a month ago and am really loving the card (besides fan noise) but have been having an issue with sound while using it.

Should mention I have all drivers up to date first but I'm getting these random explosions(really loud) of static that last anywhere from 5 to 20 secs before it declines and sound resumes.

I have it connected thru the mini hdmi and have tried multiple sound systems and games. At first I thought it was just SWTOR since that game is a poorly coded piece of &#$*. But I've run it thru the integrated sound card on the MB and no issues.

Any suggestion would be helpful, thanks!

Have you tried changing the cable? And are you sure the port/hdmi speaker is fine?

Well it's a mini HDMI to Regular. Tried 2 different HDMI coords same thing, and the port is used for ps3 sometimes and that doesnt have this issue.?
