Ok so i have my main system

phenom ii x4 980
amd 6950
680watt psu
16gb ddr3
3way sli/crossfire mobo

And i have a 550ti from an old machine.

Now i render fraps videos in Sony vegas 10. Normally 15min.

I have read that you can use nvidia gpu's to render. And apparently its really good.

So i was wondering is do you guys know how i can get it so i have the gpu running but only for cuda with my system?

You can also do it with amd. Go render with sony avc/mp4 set it to mp4 and hit rendering with gpu if available. Then hit check for gpu.
